Polypropylene Sheet

Simona PP Polypropylene Sheet (PP) consists of a combination of Propylene monomers and covers a temperature range from 0 °C to +100 °C. It is the perfect all round solution for chemical tank and equipment engineering

There are 2 types of Polypropylene Sheets in the Simona range:

1. Simona DWU-AlphaPlus

The Simona DWU-AlphaPlus Polypropylene Sheet is an extremely cost-effective homopolymer with a fabric backing. They are the product of choice within the area of composite construction and linings.

DWU-AlphaPlus Properties:

• Permanent-heat stability
• High chemical resistance
• Excellent for use in chemical tank and equipment construction
• Alpha-nucleated
• Good long-term properties when exposed to a range of media
• High rigidity in upper temperature range

2. Simona-PP-DWST

The Simona-PP-DWST Polypropylene Sheet is permanent-heat resistant, homopolymer, natural coloured PP. This product is specially designed for indoor applications and ideal for use in the food industry.

DWST Properties:

• Permanent-heat stability
• High chemical resistance
• Very good processing characteristics
• High corrosion resistance
• Good long-term properties when exposed to a range of media
• High rigidity in upper temperature range

Although mostly sold as sheets, all of our Simona Polypropylene products come in Sheet, Rod and Welding Rods form.
