TECAMID – Polyamides (PA) Nylon

TECAMID is a semi-crystalline polymer with very good mechanical properties, extreme toughness and excellent sliding and wear properties. The properties vary from hard, tough PA66 to soft, flexible PA12. Depending on the type, polyamides absorb different amounts of moisture, so influencing the mechanical properties and dimensional accuracy. Ensinger TECAMID (Nylon) is the family of extruded polyamides.

Transportation, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive, conveyor technology, packaging and paper machinery, textile industry, precision engineering.

TECAST – Cast Polyamides (PA6 G) Nylon

TECAST is a highly molecular highly crystalline polymer. Semi-finished products or castings are manufactured using a pressureless casting method, whereby the raw material Caprolactam polymerizes by means of a controlled chemical reaction. TECAST can be manufactured in wide-ranging casting weights and dimensions.

TECAST Nylon Applications

Conveyor technology, mechanical engineering, packaging and paper machinery, automotive, clutch and engine manufacturing, heavy duty industry.
